The Youth Ministry is specifically for building and developing the young men and women in the church. Sandwiched between the children and adult groupings, the youth is faced with identification and cultural dilemmas, which threatens their spiritual viability. The teachings at the children’s Sunday school are too elementary for their standard, and yet the teachings of the adult ministry are not very suitable for their needs.
This movement is purposely for the ladies in the church, as the name depicts. Our main goals are to encourage the women to build strong prayer life to enable us achieve our role of praying for the family, the church and its leaders; and to help us build a strong spiritual family life, to enable us function as good wives and mothers, thus becoming shining examples as Christian women in the society. We meet to pray for the growth of the church and also to intercede for the ministers, and the leaders of the church. We also do character studies of distinguished women in the bible to emulate their rich character.
As the name portrays, this is purposely for the children in the church. Our main goal is to train up the children in the fear and knowledge of t he Lord. We teach the scripture and character studies of some notable biblical young characters who were taught the fear of God and grew up to become famous individuals in the society. Lessons taught in a Sunday school class are: obedience, respect, humility etc.
Pentecost Men's Movement (PEMEM), is the men's ministry in the church of Pentecost. It was formed to cater for the interest of all men in the church and to recognize the distinct position man holds in creation regarding our roles in marriage, family, work, church, leadership and the community we live in. The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye, has commended the Youth Director, Apostle David Nyansah Hayfron, for his sterling leadership qualities and also serving meritoriously as the Director of the Church’s Youth Ministry for eight years. The 2019 edition of the Pan African Conference For Children’s Ministers was officially launched at a colourful ceremony on Friday (March 1, 2019) at the AH Hotel in Accra. A nationwide campaign dubbed ‘Environmental Care Campaign' meant to rid Ghana of filth has been launched in Accra. The campaign, an initiative of The Church of Pentecost, is being carried out in partnership with the Zoomlion Ghana Company Limited and the Government of Ghana.
